Mike,

It was strange coming in this morning and not seeing

Kathleen in room 19.  We will miss her and your

wonderful family.

Thank you to Samie, Rachel and the rest of your family

for the very special thank you card.  That's the kind

of stuff that really keeps us going:)

I will continue to look forward to the day when

Kathleen invites me to call her "Bean".  I look

forward to knowing the woman who was your best friend

and life partner.  There was obviously something very

special about her and since she "chose" you, that says

a lot about the kind of man you are.

I don't know how all of this will work out for you,

but I wish you and your girls all the best.  I'm sure

the holidays will be a tough time for everyone, but

you have those two adorable girls who will keep you

going. Your relationship with them is forever changed

because of this incident.  Continue to be strong for

them.  Your plate is full Mike, but you are blessed

with people who care and are there for you and the

girls.  That is such a wonderful thing.

Also, we still need to work with Michelle on the rehab

items that we promised.  Ideally, I would like to get

them ordered before the end of December, so please ask

her to touch base with Vlada.

I hope you don't mind but I would like to check in

with you now and then to see how things are going.
